The Sales Analysis dynamically displays COSTAR sales data providing a comprehensive analysis of Order Entry sales documents.
The default page displays Product, Service, and Special Item sales. The Statistics page displays Sales Type (Cash or Account), Sales Person (Written By), and Specifics sales.
Check the Show Statistics check box to toggle between the two pages.
Sales information is divided into four pages;
- Today: Sales Today, Today being the date specified in the Date picker.
- Week-to-Date: Sales between the First day of the Week and Today.
- Month-to-Date: Sales between the First day of the Month and Today.
- Year-to-Date: Sales between the First day of the financial Year and Today.
Options;
- Sort by Manufacturer to sorts product sales records by Manufacturer, then Product Type
- Show Statistics
- Show Last Year
- Inter Company Sales (Excluded, Included, Only)
There are 9 Columns of information;
- Qty: Quantity of items sold for sales line.
- Sales $: Sales value in dollars for sales line.
- Sales GP$: Gross Profit value in dollars for sales line.
- Sales GP%: Gross Profit percentage for sales line.
- Sales $Mix%
- Total Documents: the sum of the individual documents
- Average Document Value$
- Average Unit Per Document
- Document Mix%

Tool bar buttons
- Back to close the sales analysis screen.
- Print the data displayed in the current screen.
- Export the data displayed in the current screen, separately for each Branch, or a weekly summary for each Branch.
- Refresh sales data from the database.
- Criteria to choose more than one branch. In a multi-branch environment, individual or multiple branches can be selected for Sales Analysis. The Criteria screen enables the user to quickly select all branches belonging to a State or Territory.
Sales Drill down: In the Product, Service, and Special Items page, double clicking a cell will drill down to display the items associated with that sales line.
Sales Drill down Documents: In the Product, Service, and Special Items page, double clicking a cell in the "Total Documents" column will drill down to display the documents items associated with that sales line.
