Accounts Receivable Statements

The AR (Accounts Receivable) Statements are to be prepared anytime after the day end for the last day of the month has been completed. This will ensure that all customer payment made on the last day of the month have been processed.

The first time you run your AR Statements you will need to set up a new report icon…

  • Click on Customers
  • Click on AR Statements
  • Click on AR Statements
  • Click on New
  • Change the Description to Monthly Statements
  • Change the Statement Date for Aged Balances to the 3rd day of the next month e.g. if running January 2016 statements set date to 030216
  • Change the Report As Of date to the month you are printing the statements for e.g. if running January 2016 statements set month to 0116
  • You can choose (tick) which ‘Suppress Options’ you would like
  • You can optionally enter a message that will appear on all statements
  • In Selections click on GL Account, tick List and select your normal Accounts Receivable GL

      

 

  • Click on OK
  • Click on Prepare
  • The Statements will be displayed and can be printed
  • The AR Statement Summary Report will be displayed

 Any customers that have their Delivery Methods set to Fax or Email for statements will automatically be faxed or emailed. All other statements will appear as a report and can be printed.

Note: The same AR Statement Report Icon can be used each month. Just go into the properties of this icon and change your dates, then prepare the icon.
