Registration Checks
Before you let your staff test-drive
a customer’s vehicle you should be ensuring that the vehicle registration is
current.
Now that registration stickers are no longer on the windscreen you
need to actively check these details, and COSTAR has a built-in way to assist!
The Microhouse Support Team can
help you with the integration, or you can add these yourself by going to;
Settings, Order Entry Options, Integration 2, Configure Microhouse Integration Partners, 3rd Party, Integration and select the appropriate State Registration Check by double clicking on
it.
Simply check the In Use box to
activate this feature.
Using the feature is easy.
When in a Repair Order or Invoice simply click on the
magnifying glass on a new line and select the appropriate
Registration Check.
If the vehicle registration is already recorded on the
Repair Order/Invoice then it will be automatically transferred to the
appropriate Registration Check window.
Click on Search and the registration details will be returned.
